Society for the History of Natural History AGM Wednesday 16 July 2025 (online)

Dear Member,

The Society for the History of Natural History looks forward to meeting you at our online Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 16 July at 3.00 (15.00 London time / BST).

The official business of the AGM will be followed by a presentation of the Society’s awards and short talks by our award winners. Details of award winners below.

The AGM is free to attend and open to all SHNH members in good standing, but advance registration is required. We will email you when registration is open. In the meantime, please save the date.

The agenda and supporting documents—including the list of nominees to Council portfolios—will be made available on the Society’s website (https://shnh.org.uk/events/) at least three weeks before the meeting date. Any apologies for absence should be sent to the Secretary (secretary@shnh.org.uk).

Joining the AGM Online: A day or two before the meeting an invitation will be emailed enabling you to join the AGM via Zoom. This email will contain a link and other login details for the meeting. Clicking on the link will take you to Zoom; you will have to download this software if you don’t already have it on your computer. If you already have Zoom, you can simply open it and ask to ‘Join a Meeting’ and add in the meeting code and password sent to you.
